TIP 10: Hand Signals During Mass

Hello Choir Director!

This is Mike from Music Ministry 101. Welcome to Tip #10 in my “20 tips in 20 days for Choir Directors“.

Today, I’m going to teach you some of my favorite hand signals to use during a Church service. Have you ever found your choir singing during the liturgy and you just needed an extra 30, 60 or 90 seconds of music? These will help you get what you want!

Hope you enjoy!

All 20 tips will be in the “blog” section of Music Ministry 101. Also, my Choir Essentials Training Program can be found here (which contains much much more information!):

  1. I’ve seen this tip used and it really works. Also gives the choir a boost of confidence that they can do something different that isn’t rehearsed and it’s always a flawless transition. I hope other people take advantage of this great tip.
