Today, I’m going to teach you how to conduct “specific” and “general” cutoffs. Cutoffs allow us as conductors to show the choir when to stop singing a particular word. We want our choir to stop singing at the same time, so that we sound ‘together’. In this video, I’ll show you the two main types of cutoffs and how to conduct them.
